Research Abstract

平成21年度は、以下の界面複合体の構築について研究を行った。
まず、レドックス特性や光応答性を有する分子をシリコン基板上に強固なSi-C結合を介して固定化する手法の開発とその物性評価に関する研究を行った。アリール基を水素終端化シリコン表面に固定する反応形式は従来極めて困難とされていたが、ヨウ化アリールをパラジウム錯体触媒を用いることにより温和な条件下で固定化する方法を見出した。この手法により、蛍光特性やレドックス特性を持つ分子の固定に成功した。またエチニルテルピリジンのヒドロシリル化反応を水素終端化シリコン表面で行うことによって、テルピリジン配位子を表面固定し、その後に金属イオン、ビステルピリジン架橋配位子を交互に結合させる逐次錯形成を利用した多積層型分子ワイヤをシリコン基板に固定化することに成功し、電子輸送に関する研究を行った。
さらに、酸・塩基応答やフォトクロミズムを発現する分子のITO基板への固定化や、金電極上に錯体を利用した分子ネットワークにも成功し、電子輸送特性を始めとする諸物性に関する調査を行っている。上記のような良質な界面複合体の構築法が確立できたことで次年度以降のCMOSへの適応の道筋を立てた。その他、金属ナノ粒子の新規合成法、特に、粒径の均一化の方法についても追究を行った。
半導体上で局所的なレドックス電流を検出する方式、超構造体の電気特性を半導体上のAu/ITO電極で検出する方式を検討した。次年度以降、実際の系に適用しながら超構造体とCMOS集積回路の融合を図っていく。
