Research Abstract

本研究では,プラズマとナノ界面の相互作用を『見る』とともに,得られた知見に基づきナノ界面ボンドエンジニアリングを創生することを目的としている.平成25年度に得られた主要成果は以下の通りである.
1.プラズマとナノ界面の相互作用を『マクロに見る』方法として,ナノ粒子生成プラズマパラメータに摂動を与え,そのナノ粒子成長への影響を調べた.ラジカルとナノ粒子成長の相互作用の解析手法として,FFT解析に加えてバイスペクトル解析を初めて適用した.その結果,プラズマパラメータの揺らぎがナノ粒子サイズを狭分散化する条件とその機構についての知見が得られた.これは,プラズマを用いたナノ構造創成において,サイズ等の揺らぎの抑制へと繋がる成果である.また,プラズマナノプロセスにおける揺らぎの制御は,非平衡統計物理学と関わりが深いことも分かった.
2.プラズマとナノ界面の相互作用を『ミクロに見る』方法として,プラズマ中に光捕捉した単一粒子のサイズ変化,位置揺らぎ,構造変化のその場計測を初めて実現した.単一粒子のエッチング速度,ラマン分光による構造変化の測定に成功した.また,プラズマ中ではイオン抗力,静電力,ガス粘性力等により捕捉単一粒子の位置揺らぎが生じることを見いだした.さらに,捕捉粒子の位置からプラズマパラメータを測定することも出来た.
3.プラズマとナノ粒子の相互作用に基づき,ナノ粒子の成長を定量的に記述する新しいモデルを提案した.このモデルにより,上記の1で得られた実験結果を説明出来る.また,ナノ粒子成長速度の安定性が良い条件でサイズが狭分散化されることを示した.
4.これまで得られた知見をもとに,ナノ界面ボンドエンジニアリングの例として,Si/SiCコアシェルナノ粒子の作製を行った.シェルの厚みを高精度に制御することにより,Li電池の電極として用いた場合に,電池容量を従来の8倍以上に増加出来ることを示した.
