| Research Abstract |
1.1998年に採集したカタクチイワシ仔魚について、耳石日輪を用いて個体別に成長速度を求め、成長速度の頻度分布を求めた。
2.次に、翌1999年まで生き残って成魚となった個体を黒潮-親潮移行域で採集して、耳石日輪から仔魚期における成長速度を個体別に求めて成長速度の頻度分布を求めた。その結果を前年の仔魚の成長速度頻度分布と比較した結果、仔魚期に成長速度が大きかった個体のみが1999年の成魚まで生き残ったことが分かった。
3.次に1998年に採集して成長速度をもとめたカタクチイワシ仔魚について、成長速度と耳石扁平面の面積および耳石周長のFAが有意に対応することが分かった。その結果をまとめてFA測定手順に関する論文をまとめた。
4.3段階の水温、4段階の餌量密度条件下で1ヶ月飼育したニシン仔魚について、カタクチイワシと同じように耳石の扁平面面積あるいは耳石周長のFAが成長速度の指標となる可能性を検討している。
