Research Abstract |
Human parainfluenza virus is an important human pathogen causing upper and lower respiratory disease. To explore the influence on binding to sialidase from hPIV-1, modification of the hydroxyl group at the C-4 in 2β, 3β-difluorosialic acid derivatives and Neu5Ac2en derivatives was carried out. Synthesized compounds showed inhibitory activities against hPIV-1.
