Research Abstract	マイクロチップ内へ化学システムを集積化する研究は、微小空間が提供する物理的特徴を利用したものが世界的に主流である。これに対し我々は、触媒反応・選択的分子認識などの化学機能を微小空間自体に積極的に付与することで、「機能性微小空間」を創製することを目的とする。本年度は、昨年度から成功し始めているマイクロチップ内合成反応の開発を展開すると共に、これまでに成功してきた化学機能分子開発をおこなった。また、微小流体における化学反応挙動をレーザー分光技術によって明らかにした。さらに、これまで困難であった気体制御を達成した。具体的には、以下の4点を明らかたした。 (1)新規化学機能微小空間の創成とマイクロチップ内合成反応の開発をおこなった。マイクロチャネル内壁にフッ素コーティングを施し、これまでに開発した触媒にフッ素系側鎖を導入することで、合成触媒の可逆固定が可能な新規化学機能微小空間を創成した。この空間内では、通常のバルク反応では得られない目的物が直接得られ、その反応効率も高いことが明らかになった。 (2)チップ内反応を指向した化学機能分子の創成をおこなった。マイクロチップ内に導入する際に適した高機能触媒を創成した。本触媒は水中で繰り返し使用可能な高機能パラジウム触媒であり、既に開発しているチップ内ナイロン膜作成技術と組み合わせることにより、高機能不斉合成チップの創成に繋がると考えられる。 (3)微小流体における反応解析をおこなった。昨年度開発した微小流体制御技術にレーザー分光技術を取り入れ、これまでに見いだされた流体中での特異的反応挙動を解析した。その結果、マイクロ流体中での液/液界面間では特異な流体力学的挙動を示すことを明らかにした。 (4)部分的壁面修飾による気液制御法を開発した。チャネル内部の新規壁面修飾法を開発し、これまで困難であった気体制御に成功した。
