| Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to consider the behavior of enterprises and entrepreneurs in Tsarist Russia.
For example my investigation of the Riabushinskiis showed following
1. The founder, Mikhail Iakovlevich, extended his businesss from the dealing in the textile product to manufacturing.
2. Mikhail's second son, Pavel, endeavored in the expansion of factories.
3. Pavel's eldest son, Pavel Pavlovich, extended his businesss from the cotton industry to the lumbering, paper manufacturing industry, publishing, flax manufacturing, oil industry, and automobile industry.
4. In addition, Pavel Pavlovich was engaged in the banking business.
