Research Abstract |
We firstly demonstrated that serum levels of L-PGDS was increased in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA) compared with osteoarthritis(OA) patients and normal control subject. Whereas, knee synovial levels of L-PGDS was significantly increased in RA patients than OA patients. Further, the synovial L-PGDS levels was significantly correlated with titer of IgM-RF. Therefore, the serum level of L-PGDS may be useful for the diagnosis of RA and the marker of the therapeutic target.
