Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To assess antibacterial activity against Streptococcus pneumoniae, we designed PNA-peptides. A PNA-peptide (RFR-acpP-PNA2S)that targets acpP, has a 5′ membrane-penetrating peptide and has a linker shows excellent activity against planktonic Streptococcus pneumoniae(MIC 5μmol/L).

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
