Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We longitudinally studied the relationship between sleep and both later sensory motor development and self-regulation. Sleep/wake patterns were recorded at 3, 4, 6, 12, and 24 months using actigraphy(A.M.I). As a result, after 6 months, long and uninterrupted sleep was related to better sensory motor development, whereas before 6 months, short and fragmental sleep does not predict later poor sensory motor development.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
