Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We conducted a performance verification of the ultrasonic telemetry system (Ultrasonic transmitter attached to fish: a receiver that receives the pin and its signal) under sea ice, which has not been sufficiently investigated so far, and is used for conducting behavioral and ecological observations of fish under sea ice in the Antarctic. In particular, verification of the operating period at low temperatures. And we did verification and elucidation of whether accurate Pinger position can be measured by the influence of the sound reflected (multiple reflections) on the sea ice because the sea surface is covered with sea ice.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
