Research Abstract |
The origin of Lam Rim--practical steps of Tibetan Buddhism--is come from the thought of Indian Saint Nagarjuna. He understood Buddha's Words (Sutras) and systematized its as the way of free from sufferings. Lojong (Mind Training) of Tibetan Buddhism is the essence of these practices (accumulation of merit and wisdom for the cause of Form body and Wisdom Body of Buddha). Nowadays, Western people interest in Buddhism as the practice of mind, we reexamine the thoughts of Japanese Buddhism--e.g. Dogen and Shinran's thoughs--from above view point.
