Research Abstract

ラン藻Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803のテトラピロール生合成系のうち4つの酵素系において、環境の酸素レベルに応じて機能分化している複数の系が機能していることを明らかにした。また、その複数の酵素系の成り立ちは、1)構造の異なる酵素系(アナロガス酵素)が利用される場合、3)構造が類似した酵素系(アイソザイム)が利用される場合、という2つに分類できることが判った。
