Research Abstract

新しいインフルエンザ治療薬の開発を目指し、従来にない化学構造を有するフラン融合4環系化合物の構造活性相関を検討した。その結果、顕著なインフルエンザウイルス増殖抑制作用を示す新規誘導体を見出した。本薬剤は、現在汎用されているノイラミニダーゼ阻害剤(タミフルなど)とは作用機序が異なることが判り、新規な抗インフルエンザ薬の有望なシーズとなることが期待される。
