Research Abstract |
Most theories of morality typically depend on a method of explanation that focusses on inward forms on our inner movements such as 'mind' and 'emotion.' However, it has been found that there are many cases that cannot be explained by such an inward form of analysis. In this study, a new model of analysis constructed using the idea of performativity - the power of language - which is suitable for analyzing difficult cases will be introduced. This study will show the utility and usability of the new model through analyzing its application in a highly evaluated practical program of moral education.
