Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to clarify the spread and change in quality of OKAYAMA Hidekichi's educational theory of manual training course. The method is to make a comparative study of authorized manual training textbooks by Ministry of Education in Japan and teaching material for manual training in U.S.A., using "Experiential Approach to Restoring Teaching Material". The following results are obtained: 1. Focused on state editing textbooks in Japan, the situation of manual training course had been unclear all the time. 2. And yet his educational theory of manual training course came up to international standard, and spread over many elementary schools in Japan.
