Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The common marmoset (Callithrix jacchus) is the only primate that has been used to generate transgenic animals with germline transmission of the transgene to their offspring. However, transgenic non-human primates that show loss-of-gene function are required to create various disease models. In this study, we tried generation of loss-of-gene function transgenic marmoset disease models.
