Research Abstract |
Angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) is a powerful tool to study electronic band structures in solids. However, materials applicable to ARPES have been restricted so far, because conventional ARPES requires large crystal sizes of more than a few millimeters. In this study, we have developed techniques required for ARPES measurements of 10 micrometer size crystals, which includes crystal orientation in-situ and low vibration sample cooling.
