Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Interaction between anxiety/insomnia score and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (n-3 PUFA) intake on serum high sensitivity (hs) -CRP levels was statistically significant in male university students. In addition, interaction between social dysfunction score and vitamin C intake on hs-CRP levels was also significant. In Japanese middle-aged population, dietary calcium intake was inversely associated with serum hs-CRP levels after adjustment for potential confounders. The association remained significant after additional adjustment for body mass index. There were no significant interactions between dietary calcium intakes and sex, BMI, or vitamin D intake on hs-CRP levels.
