Outline of Final Research Achievements

We investigated interfaces between ionic liquid (IL) and an electrode by vacuum electrochemical atomic force microscopy (vacuum EC-AFM). A lithium titanate, which is known as a negative electrode material for lithium ion battery, was used as a sample, and atomic resolution was successfully achieved in IL-based electrolyte.
