Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To solve the problem of "spontaneous" words being mixed in academic texts (reports, articles, etc.) that should be described in "written verbal" words, words with annotations such as "writing style" or "spontaneous" 1,900 words were extracted from literature on composition techniques. Then, we chose 154 words mentioned in more than five different literatures, and appropriateness of using in academic documents is categorized in terms of lexical categories, meaning, and subjective judgment (a: inappropriate, b: better not to use, c: should be carefully treated (e.g. can be unnatural depending on context), d: mostly usable).
