Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To develop control strategies for spatio-temporal patterns in diffusively coupled nonlinear systems, we considered control design methods for spatio-temporal patterns in diffusively coupled systems in discrete or continuous space. Throughout this research project, we obtained the following results: 1. For large-scale network systems created by taking a couple of graph products of networks, we derived an estimation method of partial synchronization patterns emerging in the networks and the corresponding synchronization condition. 2. For network systems with transmission delay couplings, we show the relationship between delay-independent full or partial synchronization and network topology. 3. We proposed a control design method for nonlinear partial differential equation systems via ultra-discretization.
