Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The relationship between teeth loss or mastication dysfunction and dementia including Alzheimer’s disease has been reported. However, the molecular mechanism underlying these remain unknown. In this study we have examined teeth loss-induced and mastication dysfunction-induced memory impairment using mice and identified the mechanisms.
