| Research Abstract |
本研究では脳卒中患者および脊髄損傷を対象として、一定期間の免荷式歩行トレーニングを行わせ、訓練前後に実施する諸検査の結果から、訓練効果とその発現機序を定量的に検討することを目的とする。
本研究の対象者は脳卒中片麻痺患者であるが、先行して研究を始めた脊髄損傷者に対しても同様の研究を行うことで、両者の訓練効果、その神経機序の相違を検討する。
これらの研究成果は、脳卒中患者の移動能力の維持・向上を図るより効果的な新たな神経リハビリテーション(neurorehabilitation)方法を立案する上で、極めて有用な情報と提供し得るものと考えられる。
免荷式歩行トレーニングの効果についてより信頼性の高い根拠が得られ、神経リハビリ訓練の効果的な手法として、臨床に広く普及させるための足がかりとなる。
