Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、内戦や自然災害、近年のCOVID-19を含む感染症の流行など、さまざまな負荷が重複してのしかかる社会的危機下のアフリカにおいて、人類の文化がいかに「創発」され、構築されるのかを明らかにしようとするものである。本研究においては、研究代表者と研究分担者計４名が、それぞれザンビア・モザンビーク、南アフリカ、マリ・ブルキナファソ、ナイジェリアという、社会的負荷の性格を異にする地域を対象に、現地研究機関との共同研究を通じて、社会的危機下での文化の「創発」のあり方を追跡する。得られた成果は、対面、オンラインを併用して全体で共有・分析し、最終的に文化の「創発」のメカニズムを解き明かす。
