Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we developed a new PET probe which based on Tim4 protein for detecting apoptosis. To develop new PET probe for PS, we designated the fusion protein composed of extracellular region of mouse Tim4 and human IgG-Fc region, named Tim4-Fc. [64Cu] Tim4-184-Fc was evaluated in mouse xenograft model bearing human epithelial carcinoma A431. PET experiments showed that its tumor accumulation was 4 times higher in MitomycinC (MMC) treated mice than in non-treated mice. Next, we tried to convert mouse Tim4 into human Tim4 for clinical use. However, PS binding ability of [64Cu] hTim4-187-Fc has lower than [64Cu]Tim4-184-Fc. In PET experiment, we could not observed difference of RI accumulation to tumor between MMC treated mice and control mice.
