| Research Abstract |
流体の挙動を数理的な側面から解析する計画であり, 一般的な流体を扱うのではなく, 次の特殊な状況に特化する.
(1) 渦点問題 : 渦点の強さと初期位置にある対称性を仮定した場合を扱い, その挙動の解明を行う.少数の渦点や少数に帰着できる場合を主に扱う.
(2) 渦層, 渦輪, 渦領域の問題 : 弱非線形不安定性の解析や渦構造不安定化の非線形ダイナミクスに関して研究を行う.
(3) 1~2種類の流体問題 : 流体の挙動の解析のための数値計算法について, 保存すべき物理量の保存性や, 効率的かつ自然な界面決定に着目して, 数値計算法の開発と研究を行う.また, 多孔質媒体流などの界面や移流拡散を有する問題に対する数学的, 数値的な研究を行う.
