Research Abstract |
The purpose of the present study was to make the social development assessment scale for children in the classroom situation. We made the assessment scale and collected the data rated by nursery teachers of 1,544 children. As a result, for "children who require special care", following characteristics were shown: The differences with the typically developing children was big in "feelings" in the under 3 years old children, "cognition" and "group behavior" in the 3 years old children, "the peer relations" in the 5 or 6 years old children. In other words, it was suggested that the focus of the problem changed to "personal" - "group" - "relations" with age.
