Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the person perception style of persons with hearing impairment on the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT). Students with normal hearing were the control group of this study. It was hypothesized that the narrative building process other than the contents of the narrative itself might be the difference for both groups. The TAT interpretation of the current study depended on Suzuki (1997), but more narrative stories were reported than the standard Suzuki method for both groups of this study. Results of this study showed that more efforts were required by the persons with hearing impairment in a narrative building process.
