Research Abstract

高齢者や脳血管障害者に多く見られる、摂食・嚥下障害(食べる、飲み込むことの障害)に対応して効率的なリハビリテーションを行なうため、MRI(核磁気共鳴装置)を用いて摂食嚥下動態を画像解析した。また併行して開放型のMRIを用いて、座位での嚥下動態の描出を行い、その動きを解析した。これらの画像を基にして摂食嚥下メカニズムの生理学的計算モデルを構築した。このモデルは、物理、数学的な計算方法を応用し、任意の数値を設定することで生理学的な嚥下の動きを模擬できることが検証できた。
